Still waiting...

I never in a million years would have imagined that a registered sex offender would be allowed to walk the streets for almost a year while waiting to go to trial on lewd and lascivious molestation charges...so un-freaking-believable it's ludicrous! Once again the pre-trial was held over until the end of July and the earliest hoped for criminal trial would be the week of August 3. I really don't look for it to happen then either, though. I'm sure his lawyer will come up with something else to hold off. I guess they think that if they keep pushing it back she will forget what he did to her, but there's not a chance of that happening. The assistant state's attorney that was handling the case has been moved to another district and the new one is someone that the pedophile knew from when he was in law inforcement. We may have to investigate for conflict of interest. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.
